OK, so when you power-up the jukebox it seems to initiate itself by doing a revolution of the carousel and then it is ready to use? I guess this is so that the CCC knows that the carousel is in the "home" position ready for a selection to be made?
Well, I turned it on inadvertently today and turned it off quickly again before the carousel had finished its initial rotation. Later, when I switched it on again, the carousel will not move and it sounds like a motor is straining so I turned it off again quickly.
My question is: Have I somehow caused the carousel to jam? Where should I start looking to fix this?

UPDATE
Just took the mechanism out to have a better look on the bench and I can see there is some sort of brake that locks the carousel which is released by a solenoid. However, back in the jukebox the solenoid does not appear to be operating but if I hold it in by hand the motor turns the carousel round.
