I've recently moved to Dublin from the London, UK
I've a AMI Continental 2 which I bought back in 2008, had it in storage for 5 years after moving to a 3rd floor flat. Finally got it back after moving into my new house.
When I first bought it I had to fit a replace a broken tone arm, transfer motor and replacement grill but other than that haven't done much to it.
I've had it running for the last 6 months albeit with a bit of a background hum much to the delight of my 2 and 5 year olds. Unfortunately it wasn't used for a month while we were
away over Christmas and now the record magazine no longer rotates after making a selection or using the scan position on the Mech switch.
Anyway found this forum while searching for solutions.
