Hello one and all. Happy to be a part of the group and at the same time I’m looking for suggestions to an error I have.
I have the Rockola 481 Max 2.
I switched it on today and noticed the record selector display which should show now playing and let’s you choose ( example ) track 166. Does not light up at all and I cannot choose a song as none of the display works.
I’d appreciate any ideas. Thanks in advance.

Hi Stuart,
It's un-clear to me-- is the whole display dark ? Are credits established ? Has the battery in the computer been replaced recently ? Ron Rich

First thing to check - have you got 9.6V (pink wire), see manual for exact details.

Hi.
Thanks for your response. No display lights up at all mind you saying that. The fluorescent lights work. Also the if I try to manually eject the record with the record selector all it seems to do is try and pick up a record and takes it to play but because the record basket it at the position where there is no available record it just keeps picking up nothing sticking it on the turntable and the record arm just settles as though there is a record on the turntable. Then if i eject it it goes through the same process again

As for the battery. I’m not sure about that. I’ll try and get a snapshot of it and post. Thanks all. The whole display is dark and no select or even now playing is blacked out. |
