Hi,my name is Ian and I live in the Bedford area in the south east of the UK. I'm hoping someone will be able to give me some advice, I have a Rowe Ami R84. I have had it about 9 months and up to now it has been working fine, but a couple of weeks ago it began to have problems selecting records and basically will keep selecting random tracks putting them on the turntable (which is not turning) then the arm will place itself on the record and then ejects the track back to the carousel which then moves on about 10 tracks and the whole thing starts again. This can go on for anything from 1 to 10 minutes. Could it be anything to do with the optical switch? Any advice would be welcome. Many thanks Ian.

Hi Ron, a nice easy fix thank you, selection problems solved π however feeling very proud of myself and with chest fully puffed out I decided to do a few little tweaks, foolishly I was still holding a small screwdriver, and yes you've guessed it shorted the yellow wired connector on the side of the gripper motor π€¦ββοΈ As a result that part of the jukebox is not working. Are there likely any fuses that could have blown? Or could I have blown something on one of the PCs board. Any advice would be welcome. Ianπ

Hi Ian, Gottem da "manual" ? It'll tell you- Yellow wire on Rowe usually was "25 VAC"--if my memory serves--- Ron Rich
