I accidently tugged a tiny thin wire from an IC on the controller and don't know which pin it was exactly soldered to. Only someone that has a 2000x or 3000x model (Laser 2000/ Mirage) that has the S-4 system will be able to know which pin. It's IC U36 and the wire was attached to the left side from pin 1-6 (7th is the ground pin). The wire is connected to pin 13 of U53 and is one of three wires on the board. I had an issue with the CD mech not moving (even in scan mode) and the rock-ola testing procedure chart shows that U36 is a likely culprit. When I reconnected it to pin 6 smoke started coming out of the jukebox within 20 seconds and I switched it off and took a look. The smoke quickly cleared and something smelt burnt but I searched every PCB and found no burning. The only thing I did find was 2 1A fuses on the power supply board were blown and the 2200uf 63V cap was measuring a too high ESR. I have no idea if this is related to reconnecting the wire to the incorrect pin or an unrelated incident.
It will be much appreciated if someone can provide the pin number - pin 1 is the top left of U36, before I try any thing else recklessly to it.
