Hello Ron, no it is the only item that i did not change, the dcc. Someone must allready have worked on it in the past since there is a note on the 311134 board "OK 2001" guess it is a good thing to put some new components in it or swap it.
Will keep you up to date, Kind regards, Didier

Hello Ron, embarrasing story..... How it feels to getting old.... I recently bought new glasses but as lot of us we "do not need them".... Finally took out pc board 311125 and took it into daylight, put my new glasses on and i see that R3111 and R3112 are both shot.....
Pffff, should i have not be so dumb to refuse admitting i need those glasses and daylight...
Going to change parts and will keep you updated. Kind regards, Didier.

Hi Didier, Been that donr there ! But those two resistors are NOT causing the data line problem-- read the MicroLog guide on the 311125 -- ! Ron Rich

Interesting topic, a friend of mine has a similar problem with his USC1 and he thought it was a defect on his gray box (since the box had a small crack in the board).

Hello Ron, board 311125 has also resistor shot at line 17. Service manual says "read source". Will change this one too. Just a little update.
Kind regards, Didier.

Hello Ron, Board 311134-1 has line 19 that goes to Q3101. When i test with the multimeter Q3101 Legs B to C gives 834 Legs B to E gives nothing..... Will change this PNP transistor too.
Kind regards, Didier.

Hi Didier, WAIT--Do you have a 311125 -1 power supply board, or has it been up dated to a -2 board ( jumpers on it ) ? On the 134 board-- OK-- a bad transistor in any line will stop that line from operating-- but will not affect read out. By the way-- board must be up dated to a -2, if a consolette is used. Ron Rich

Hello Ron, there are no jumpers on the 125 board and only 1 board present in the DCC. Got the new components today and will start replacing them. Also will replace all caps on board 125 since they are at least from 2001 since the board says "OK 2001" they seem to be good but 20 years old so.....
Will keep you updated. Kind regards, Didier.

Hi Didier, I am not understanding "--only one board present in the DCC" ? It requires three boards ?? Which DCC, & code, is it ? If you re-cap that 125-1 board be very careful as the first incarnation of those boards was very poor-- traces are easily broken ! The first gen boards can be ID'ed by "square traces"-- 2nd gen boards have curved lines for traces, and heavy ground planes, are on the board. UNplug both the DRD & DTP from the DCC after you re-do it-- allow it to run, at least an hour, while you watch it-- the difference between the -13, and the -27 vdc, must NEVER. exceed 15.5 vdRich

Ok, sorry Ron, there's a little mis understanding. Yes there are 3 boards in the DCC present. I mis read your message, thinking you asked about 2 boards 125, sorry for that.
The Transistor did the thing, all selections work fine now, had all the capacitors changed and I will make a burnin test later on this week and do those measurements you ask for.
Thanks for all the tips and support.
We always want to walk to fast cause we assume always it will be a easy fix....hahaha... Anyways, the hard fixes do teach us much more cause then we really need to go dig in schematics and trace lines etc..
Will make updates later this week. Kind regards, Didier.

Hi Didier, Glad it worked -- What was the transistor marked ?- do not leave that unit powered up if you are un-sure that the -13/-27 vdc, are correct, as you can ruin the DTP & the DRD ! Ron Rich

Hello Ron, the transistor was Q3101 at the 134 board. It was originally a 309460. The seeburg parts alternative said it could be replaced by 2N3906. I used the 2N3906.
Will have the burnin test now and doe the meassuring for 13-27V.
Kind regards, Didier.

Hi Ron, the juke does it all fine untill now.. Selections are fine, tried all kinds for 2 hours and here is what i meassure: On idle, i have -12,5 and -25,6 On trippin or changing records it stays like that. Have this when cold and when warm after 2 hours. The +27 i have +26,5 all the time, stable to.
I think everything is fine for now but will try it more and longer over the weekend.
Thanks a lot for the support. Kind regards, Didier.
