Hi, I was planning on disassembling the motors for the carousel and gripper mechanism to clean them in an ultrasonic bath, but I noticed a label "Re-magentize if disassembled". After some reading I learned that the permanent magnets could lose their magnetic charge if you disassemble them but I could not find out what to do in this situation. How does one go about re-magnetizing these things? Or maybe more general, any suggestions that I should or definitely should not do when working on these motors? For reference, they are stock dc 28v motors for a RO 436 (similar to this picture I found on the internet: i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NzY4WDEwMjQ=/z/eEoAAOSw8Jxh3JFB/$_86.JPG)wkr, Kevin

Hi Kevin, I have seen that notice-- the last time I saw it the motor had a snapped off a brush stopping the armature from moving. I asked the customer what he wanted me to do--noting that he might need to purchase a new motor-- long story-short-- I removed the armature cleaned it, and it seamed fine ?? Ron Rich
