I just reacquired my grandfather's bar jukebox (Rowe / AMI Series JAO Bandstand) after it was out of the family and in storage for about 8 years.
For the most part, everything works well, the only issue is that the sound will cut out and stay out after playing for a few seconds.
If I turn it off and let it sit for an hour or so, it will again play sound only to have it cut out again.
I have some rudimentary knowledge of electrical equipment and can replace obviously broken parts and solder connections etc, but I don't have the the manual for the jukebox and honestly don't know enough about the jukebox to know where to start.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be happening to cause this and where I might start the troubleshooting process?
Thank you for your time!

"Start" with our FAQ's section and READ the "Hi Newbies" post--it answers many of your questions-- then do as it says to do, and read the other FAQ's and stickies in the AMi/Rowe section. Ron Rich
P.S.-- LEAVE that phono, UN-plugged for now !
