I've got an R-88 with a bad service switch that deoxit won't cure... I did a little searching and found these at Mouser: www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/CW-Industries/G-660S-6010?qs=YTF9U5lrlUn2OJmIDK45NA%3D%3D&countrycode=US¤cycode=USDThey are the correct physical dimensions to interact correctly with the door and the contacts are rated for 6 amps, which should be plenty. At $3 apiece the price was right; I ordered a few and I'll give it a try. Sharing here in case anyone else has a similar problem. All the later Rowe-AMI R-series jukes used a 4-pole 3-position slide switch like this one for the service mode. The earlier R-series used a big lever for service/scan modes that seems to be much more reliable.

Hi Dave, Just curious-- did you spray that switch with a "safety solvent", prior to the Deoxit ? Which Deoxit did you use ? Ron Rich

Only DeoxIT D5. I would spray, exercise the switch ~30x, repeat that process 3x, end with a final rinsing spray, then let it thoroughly dry. It would consistently work for a week then go back to needing several exercises of the switch to enable service each time it was powered on.
This is one I'm ready to move down the road to make room for other projects and I want it to be reliable for the next owner, otherwise I'll get a phone call. If it works, $3 is a great price for a fix, especially since the leads are already wired to plug-and-play terminals on the current switch. Should be a 5-minute install.

Followup: The Mouser switch works great. The terminals are a little smaller than the jukebox harness connectors, but if you push the connectors all the way down, there is a wider section of the terminal where it meets the backplane of the switch that will engage the connector well. You will have to drill out the rivets holding the switch to the bracket and either use screws and nuts or new rivets to attach the new one. Hole spacing is identical.
I would also recommend reusing the cardboard insulator from the original switch to keep the wires from shorting against each other. This can be easily removed from the old switch after removing the connectors and placed on the new one before attaching the wiring.

Hi Dave, Great-- I too would suggest you re-use the insulator -- it's not "cardboard" it's "Fish-paper"-- Ron Rich

Dave, When you had the issue with the service switch, did it cause any symptoms on the jukebox. If so, what were they. I ma starting to suspect the service switch on my R-91.
Thanks,
