Howdy from Florida. What model and/or specs is everyone using for a DC bench power supply? I was thinking of getting one and not sure what the typical voltage and amps should be for jukebox repairs/testing.
Many thanks for the feedback.

Hi JT, Not quite sure what you are asking ? "Jukeboxes", depending on make/model/age, use various supplies internally, that I have always found to be adequate for "testing" purposes-- A GOOD, Analog and a digital meter, is a MUST, IMHO. Ron Rich

I'm troubleshooting a gripper motor on a Rockola. Agreed, you can plug it in and make it work on the jukebox, but would like to pull the control assembly to test other parts. DC bench power supply would be nice to have. Was just curious if someone had used a bench power supply in the past and what the specs where. Bench equipment can go all the way up to 60V+ and 30+ amps. I figured a up to 30v and 10 amps would suffice.
Yes, multimeter is a must.

Hi JT, I don't think you can "bench test" something like that motor-- It MAY "run OK" on the bench, but fail in the phono, under load-- ?? Nothing I can think of in a jukebox, should ever draw over 10 amps-- ? Ron Rich
