I’d like some opinions about a Seeburg Apollo with selecting problems. A technician replaced a frayed and loose power cord, and performed general mechanism maintenance. After the service call, the jukebox stopped making any selections ending in “4.” The technician returned to clean and reseat the connectors to the gray and black boxes. After that, selections ending in “2” began to fail intermittently; the “4”s continued to not select at all. Given this, what are the plausible causes of, and solutions to, the selecting failures?
Thank you!

Hi Terry, Did your "technician" have a copy of the USC-1 Service Manual, or a copy of my "Seeburg MicroLog Trouble Shooting Guide", with him ? The LS-3 "Apollo", is the first MicroLog model-- the Service Manual is poor. The later manual, and my guide, have the "quadribit" chart in them, that can be used to pinpoint this problem. When you say "it won't select"-- what do you mean ? What EXACTLY, happens if you select #140 ? How about # 222 ? Ron Rich
