Seeburg stereo 160 won't keep record or move on track

Hi,

I recently inherited a Seeburg stereo 160. I really love the jukebox but it isn't working properly and I'd like to fix it. I have no experience with any jukeboxes or older electronics really. I also don't have the manual that came with the Jukebox. 

Right now the player won't move on the track at all. It can grab a record from the position it is in, but once the needle hits the record it spits the record back into its slot. 

I think the motor and everything is working properly, everything seems to be running. 

Let me know if anyone has some suggestions.

Hi TB. Many of the various seeburg models are 160 selections (meaning 80 records) so you will need to figure out which model is yours. here are links to pages that show pictures by year. Also Rons Mech Guide is a very worthwhile investment as this sounds like a Mech lubrication problem. Regards - Mark
