When, is this "static" heard--What, if any thing didja do to "re-build" the amp ?

Hi Ron,
I haven't personally observed this "static" condition. I am going down tomorrow to see what they're talking about.
As far as the amp goes I recapped all the electrolytics, checked the transistors, adjusted the bias on the output transistors
and set the gain. Other than that it was just the usual inspection and cleaning etc.

Ron,
I'll post after I return from my visit. I'm sure you know how a customer's description varies from
what you see when you actually see the equipment and symptoms.
Hope your health battle is going in your favor as much as possible and that you had a good 4th.
