I was just having a look at the accumulator, "Remember what a jukebox was MADE to do-- as I have said before--NOT, to play records, as most seem to think--but, "TO MAKE MONEY" !! (in most jukeboxes, there is NO "free play" function ! If, money is not needed, in most cases, some type of "jury-rigging" has been done !). I would like to do some "jury-rigging". Is there a best practice for this operation on a 1446? Thanks, Tom

Tom, The credit unit can be modified by removing the cancel lever from the credit unit which subtracts one credit after each selection.
Note: Afterwards the credit lamp #44 will lit up permanently, it might wear faster.
This is for models 1446 up to Tempo 2. For models using a latch bar solenoid this is not recommended.

Hi Tom, That should outta be "covered" in the doc.s that came with the phono, when new, or that you purchased --somewhere ? ! I am ASSUMING that the juke was shipped set at 10 cent play from the factory (or converted in the field). In which case the "slug rejector" should have a "nickel diverter" installed in it, so that every OTHER nickel, hits the switch-- ( remember what the 1st thing a juke box was designed to do ?)
