I saw the same topic as well. Is it true? My correspondence with Ron Sensei was only recently started and still very shallow, but the results were immeasurable. I am sad. I am really sad. RIP

This is sad, so sad. I have hardly any words, just tears.
When God saw that the road became too long, the hill too steep, the breathing too hard, he put his arm around and said, "Come home."
Ron, you loved chocolate and cookies. I will have some and think of you today. Rest in peace. Hildegard

Ron,
Thanks for all time you give to all of us.
I was lucky to share little time with you.
As we say in french "Bon Voyage Ron"
I'll play my juke for you.
Friendly, Cédric.

I feel very lucky to have not only have gotten great advice from him on this forum, also helped directly by email. When i came to this site i have no knowledge on jukeboxes, now with the help of Ron and Norman i have restored 8 units. He was very no nonsense kind of guy but anyone that listened soon realized he was doing his best to teach us to read and understand for ourselves. RIP he will be greatly missed. pete

I was fortunate to have his help over the 25 years I have restored my own Seeburg 100s . I thought he was the most knowledgeable Seeburg person in the industry.

Nooo! I too received much help from Ron. I will miss him terribly. He had so much knowledge. There is no one who can take his place I fear.

I was saddened to hear this news. While I didn't know him well he definitely helped a lot of people with his wealth of knowledge.
After I created this forum I let Ron run with it as I don't have the time. That hasn't changed so I will need to assign at least one more person to admin and moderate the site.
Any recommendations?

those who grew up with coin operated music, AM radio, and remember B4 stereo and B4 dials in the phones note the passing of an era bit by bit it slides away from us. this was a big hit

Oh such a shame, I'm as Ron would say a " A New Bee ", but in that short time that man always found time to answer my post. I can't help but believe that Ron has become more then a great person, but a true legend in his industry and to his piers. My thoughts go out to his family and friends

I am very sad to hear of Ron's passing, he was a great help in explaining Seeburg jargon to me when Tony millers books got to technical. I was going to send him a box of black and Grey boxes for repair but that is now gone. The greats are leaving us, we have to keep their lnowledge alive through speading what we were taught.
RIP Ron, you will be very missed.
