i have a model j that was rebuilt but was moved and now has a problem. I selected a few records and it plays them but won't shut off .It plays them over and over.In laymens terms where should i look for the problem.

This may or not be pointing you in the right direction, I purchased a C that did the same thing. In your manual it shows exactly where the frog should line up to the pins, it also shows procedure. Possibly it is out of alignment and the cancel coil is not pushing the pin back after playing. You can manually move the pins out of play position and they should not play. just a starting point pete
