Hello everyone. I am working on an AMi Model A, "AA" amplifier (Silver). I was wondering if any of you know what the Remote Volume Potentiometer Ohm rating and wattage requirement is for this amp. I thought I read sometime in the past it was only around 50 Ohms? I don't recall the wattage either. Thank you for setting me strait on this. All I see in the manual is the % of taper.

I don't have direct knowledge, but based on the schematic, and since the remote volume control is after the output transformer, I would assume the value should be roughly the same as the cabinet speaker's impedance. The wattage value would have to be pretty high to handle the full output of the amplifier. Probably around 25 watts. Hope that helps.
