Hi Pete, I will give it a try - hoping somebody corrects me if I am wrong. Originally M100B used a 15" field coil speaker made by Jensen, 8 Ohm, field coil 5.6k. One (maybe best) option is trying to find a good original one - check with Bill Butterfield e.g. at mffe@napanet.net When looking for a new replacement I'd say one of these three should work: P-A-C15K P-A-C15N P-A-P15N www.tubesandmore.com/search/node/15%22?page=2&categories=Speakers%2520%2526%2520Components The first two with ceramic magnet are more close to speakers from the 1960s era while the AlNIco magnet (P-A-P15N) fits sound of 1950s era better. It is for sure a matter of money. I would recommend to check the measurements of those speakers with the needs in your M100B. Though they are licensed Jensen reproductions there might be minor differences. All will need a load resistor of (I think so) 5.6k because those are not field coil speakers. I don't know of any reproduction / new such speakers. Hopefully somebody else can throw in some thoughts and suggestions. Hildegard
