Hi guys i have read all of Rons posts on carts and needles but feel the original blackhead with matching needles is lacking when playing stereo 45s, i realize it was designed for mono. I have a 100B that has what looks like an aftermarket cart pictured below. It is much clearer when playing stereo but has no markings so im not sure what it is. Does anyone know exactly what it is or recommend a better cart/needle combo or are you all of the same mind the blackhead is the best. thanks Pete

That's a Pickering 345-03d which had a limited production run, now fairly rare and expensive if you do find one! The blackhead is OK but back in the 50s', the redhead was considered an upgrade and retro fitted to many jukeboxes with blackheads.
Norman.
