Hello
I think I may know the answer but can I please check.
Both motors (transfer and carousel) work when I disengage the gears from the mechanics they need to drive, once the gears are engaged they do not work, or seem to have enough power to drive the mechanism. When disengaged and actually turning it doesn't take much to stop the motor with my hand.
Could it be the carbon brushes?
Many thanks
Darren

Hi Darren
I'd say could be caused by the carbon brushes. Could be a very dirty inside of the motor too (dust of carbon). If all goes bad there can be a shorted coil or the commutator is worn.
