This is a diary or rather a report.
I am posting this because I have decided that it is better to share this with you all.
I have been repairing ChantalMeteor 200 for some time now.
I was able to bring it back from immobilized to working, but
As I posted in another thread, the slip ring (coupler? Comutator?) that connects the mechanism to the main unit has poor contact.
As if to add more, the metal wear on the magazine and selector mechanism started the other day, and the ejection/storage of the vinyl disc is no longer functioning occasionally.
When this happens, the most regrettable thing is the difficulty in procuring parts and the lack of documentation.
I have come to believe that there is a correlation between the rarity of the model and the problems mentioned above.
At the moment I am severely depressed.
I have not had much experience with this kind of near setback, so I am interested in how the seasoned seniors are overcoming this.

Norman Sensei Thanks for the reply!
Actually, I was already aware of the thread during the early stages of the repair and I immediately contacted Mr. Val and the museum as presented. However, I did not get the results I was expecting.
I am beginning to realize that it is quite painful to have zero definitive clues regarding the adjustment of the mechanism. The importance of schematics and service manuals is great.
