Speakers connected to the right channel of my CD jukebox distort on SOME (not all) CDs. I can't stand it.
I already sent the amp to Bruce W. at A&B for rebuild and I don't want to shell out $300-$350 to have another rebuild.
Is there a way to bypass the jukebox amp and wire the CD player to another/ external amp or receiver?
Would one of the Rowe Ami Amplifier Boards such as the 60792702 get me there?
If so, could anyone explain how to do it?
Thanks in advance!

I cannot give any technical advise. About the idea of a home stereo amp: In that case most likely there will be no muting anymore. Hence te amplifier would "On" all the time and amplificate not only the songs but also any other noise in the jukebox.
Did you already swap the speaker connections to see if the fault follows? Or to hook up extra speakers - to make sure it's not a problem of the speaker or speaker coonection.

So if I think right, then the problem is in the amplifier. In that case I'd say contact Bruce W. again for checking the amp and his work again. Maybe something was overseen. I would let him know which CDs (songs) show the problem best.
