How can i get sound out of treble speakers and none out of bass speakers. checked speakers and got 4 to 7 ohms out of each one. could speaker transformer be bad.

Hi Albert, It would probably be helpful if you stated the model in question. However I note that you refer to bass speakers plural. In the first instance try looking for a bad connection particularly on any lines which are common to both speakers (ground?).

thanks Norm. Problem solved on my r88. bad stylus from constant jamming during tone arm setup. swapped with another from my r83 and all sound came back. including bass.

Glad it was a simple fix! Based on your stated issue, I never would have guessed it was the stylus!
