Hello All, A friend gifted me an AMI/Rowe CD. Apparently, it worked before I picked it up. After transporting in pick-up truck for 1 hour, something happened. I reconnected one loose cable and it worked for one song. There is another 2 pin cable that is not connected (couldn't get pic to insert). Can anyone tell me if it should be? And anything else I should try to get this working? Thanks in advance, Patrick Northern VA 703-763-9912 plorzing@gmail.com

Dear Patrick,
You lucky guy having such a friend!
Photos cannot be attached here. You will need an extra photo hoster and link the photo or use a photo hoster which creates an URL which can be inserted here.
Without seeing the cable or knowing more I guess hardly anybody can give the answer. In general cables have an intention. It they would be useless they would not be installed. Unless it is one for a kind of accessory which is optional.
Check all fuses for correct value and characteristic. Check all plugs for tight fit - unplug and plug again.
Did the jukebox play only one song and then refused to play more? Or did you only try one song? Is credit established?

Patrick,
If the 2 pin connector wires are orange and white, the cable is the "Rowe Link" cable. It connects the "CCC" controler to the "Mech controller. You should see the RoweLink connection port on the CCC controller located on the right hand lower corner. You should 3 connection points there, any one should be ok. Then look at the mech controller, nounted o the CD mech, there will be a connection point name Rowe Link, just make sur you install thr connectors properly.
'Hint" check the connectors, if the connector has dirt/dust on the top and the bottom is pretty clean, the dirty side is the "top"
Rower lables all the connections point so it should be pretty straight forward.
Also, as our "Moderator in the Sky" would say, "Get the manual!".
