Ron ,I've noticed when I first tun the machine on and pick a selection it plays one close by (example)I pick 137 it plays 139 . Once it has done this than she will go on to playing what I select with no problems . Although , I have had a few times where it can not find the selection at all like it's missing and rediscovered when u don't expect it.

Hi Dude, Gotta Service Manual--got a copy of my " Seeburg MicroLog Trouble Shooting Guide" ? You probably have a case of maintenance needed. Sounds as if you need to properly oil the drive train, clean the 2M-1, readout sensors, and Detent switch contacts. Ron Rich

I found a new problem today, when I pick selection 165 the record goes from the magazine to the mech but 90percent of the time bounces Back , which ends with the clamp arm coming down on places other the vinyls grooves and tearing up my record although I am using a worn out record for this so no harm no foul but I would like to fix this issue b4 I put in a good 45 , I have oiled everything from the manuals chart, I've watched this happen to see if record was hitting anywhere causing the bounce back but no luck.

Ok I believe it's coming from my transfer arm , as I can see the record slip to the right when it's being transferd. Is it possiable for the transfer arm to come out of alignment for just one selection?

Did you have the magazine off the base ? Did you check the alignment of the spacers for that "hole" ? Is your test record very thin ? Which lift arm is installed on your mech (metal, with white nylon "tail", all metal or black plastic) ? Ron Rich

Ron, I did not have the magazine off the base, I have not checked the alignment your referring to as I will search the manual and do that before I comment again, also I'm using a fairly thick test record and it's hard to tell which lift arm I have but I will also pull the front door off the fc1 to try and get a good look and will get with you tomorrow . Thanks

You need not pull the front door off-- just remove a record, select that slot and look over the top of the rack at the lift arm, as it enters the slot--then do the same on the slot you are having a problem with-- Ron Rich

OK--remove the record from the bad slot--select that slot, allow the carriage to stop there, and remove motor power at that point. Turn the motor coupler by hand, while watching the lift arm approach that slot- It must enter that slot, evenly, prior to the "tails" touching the rack. Note if the lift arm fingers touch either of the side separators. If so, check the A-1 and V-8 end slots--if all are of in the same direction, you will need to re-align the rack, or the lift arm ( doing either probably will require re-alinment of the TMU). If the "bad record slot" is the only one off--one of the separators has been bent--un-bend it ! Ron Rich

Ok so i did , figure out what is going on i need to pull the light and top off the magazine rack to see how each slot is held in because that one slot has some play on one side -top,backside (if your standing in front of phono) best way to describe is flimsy metal bowing back and forth

Not quite sure what you are saying, but if you are referring to the lamp assembly as the "top" of the magazine--that ain't gonna help--If/when you remove it--be sure to re-tape the lamp wires back into the "hole", before re-assembly !

That one slot is loose at the top under the light fixture & the now playing indicator contact block . When the pick up arm slides up one side is giving at the top allowing the record to fall off . Hope I explained better this time
