I have a Wurlitzer 3200 Americana 2 juke box that has a broken caster. I'd like to change all four out, but am having a hard time finding the correct casters. Can someone point me to a place that would have the right ones. Thanks, Chuck.

Thanks Marty. I see my model is listed. I'll order a set and see.

If not ordered yet, maybe ask Victory Glass in advance if those casters are ok for 3200. I don't know unfortunatley. But I see that some models listed in "Categories" are not right e.g. Seeburgs. They use larger ones (2.5" instead of 2" casters). The parts lists don't tell well - part numbers changed within the years.

You are so right. The casters ordered only come with the caster and shaft. the type that you push in a mounting. The originals are a complete caster set steel wheels on a four screw mounting pattern. I have a call into Victory Glass asking if the mounts are available. if not I'll have to remount the old steel casters. Thanks for your reply. much appreciated.

Dear Chuck,
Yes, maybe you can find single wheels and replace the steel ones. Maybe you need to drill out the old rivets if not screwed and then use bolts instead. Or you take your old caster with mounting plate to a hardware store to see if you can find something close. Check if the pivoting radius needs to be taken care of. Height and load should be respected too. And mostly new holes have to be drilled. So repairing the old ones might be a good option.

I contacted Victory glass and sent them pics of the old casters and the shafted hard rubber wheels they sent. I got an immediate response via a call from Jim. He said to send back the shafted wheels and he would send me the appropriate casters with mounts. Just two days later they arrived. Same type, but with hard rubber as the originals. The four-hole screw pattern was bigger, so I was able to only use one of the two threaded inserted holes and drilled new holes to mount the three wood screws. The original 4 holes had two threaded inserts diagonally for a #10-32 machine screw and two holes without threaded inserts for two wood screws. It turned out great and the unit is now upright, and I'll be filling it up with my newly acquired 45s. Just a side Q? I tightened down the deck with the two bolts and secured the tone arm prior to setting the unit on its back. Just wondering how much to loosen up the deck bolts before playing.
