In 1984 my wife and I bought a Seeburg LPC480. I got a $400 loan from my employer’s credit union to make the purchase - the first time I ever officially borrowed money.
We had a good time mail ordering records and enjoyed the Seeburg for several years, but after a few moves and a few kids it got neglected but it hung around. Tropical Storm Gaston in 2004 left two feet if water in our basement, and 10 truckloads of ruined stuff went to the dump….. but the Seeburg remained. We dried it out as best we could and aside from the speaker baffles swelling a bit, it seemed to survive okay.
After a couple decades or lying dormant we decided we want to get it going again. I repair tube amps as a hobby so I thought I would give it a shot (although it has a SS amp it does have a tube tormat control, which is on my bench now.) I will post more about the specifics if what’s happening in the appropriate forum but want to to say “hi” here and thanks in advance for the interest.

Hi, and welcome to the board!
Hopefully the transformers did not get too wet inside.
Should be a worthwhile project.
