AMI "C" on 78's was working fine. Played a record and wouldn't reject at the end. Can't cancel with the button or by manually hitting the reject (end of record) switch.
I can hear the relay click when I press the cancel button. Mech is stuck in the playing position. If I unplug and plug the jukebox back in, the turntable spins immediately. Each time I plug it back in and press Cancel, I can hear the relay click once, but mech doesn't move
All fuses tested good.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Maybe it's worth the measure if the relay is ok. Usually one can't relay on just the clicking noise.

Have you checked that camshaft switch is not misaligned.

Cleaned switches on cancel relay and all is good. Now a question about tracking force. I am using a P-51-3 for 78's but I can't adjust the tracking force. It's suppose to track at 8 grams, but it's more like 18. I've checked it with an old Garrard tracking force gauge and a modern digital gauge and the both read 18 grams. That's way too high but there doesn't seem to be any way to adjust it. Any tricks for lightening it up?

Regarding tracking force, there is no easy solution. How tonearm is made, there isn't much space/room to use a spring solution.

Which tonearm do you have ? The alloy version square shaped or the tubular one ?
You can try to add some weight at the rear, but since pivot/balance is almost on the rear, would be difficult.

The back end, where it pivots is square. The tonearm itself is tubular aluminum. There is very little room to add any weight. I may try a spring.
