Howdy folks; It's been awhile since I've been here and I'm happy to be back again. We moved recently and I finally reloaded my Saturn cd jukebox with cds. When I powered up the jukebox everything seemed to be functioning except after it ran it's test which was fine a single zero appeared on the screen. I can navigate the menu but it wil not let any selections to be made. Could anybody enlighten me as to what could be causing this problem? Thanks; Pete

I'm not completely familiar with the Saturn's, but maybe computer's battery has gone dead. That would reset the unit to factory settings, including free play options. You may need to establish a credit or set the free play option (once the battery's been changed). I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!

Thanks Marty; I got to thinking that because everything was working fine before we moved that maybe it might have developed a loose connection somewhere during the move? If that's possible. Back to the battery; is there a way of testing it before I go to the trouble of removing it? What is the battery for the RAM? Are these batteries easy to find? Pete

Hi Pete, I am not familiar with these quite modern jukeboxes at all. I guess Marty might be right - at least the empty battery these days is a very possible cause. We don't have a manual for Saturn, so I looked up in the CD100G manual. It says if the jukebox does not respond to the keyboard and a zero is shown at "SELCETION REMAINING" at th display, in that case there is no sufficient credit. That would match Marty's guess.
There should be a number on the RAM which tells what to look for.
