OMT Wurlitzer lights not working

Hi from Kent UK...

I have a OMT Vinyl wurlitzer- had it 20 years- all good. The 2 diagonal fluorescents stopped working- I ordered new bulbs and starters- fitted them but still no joy.

Anyone got ideas on what's wrong?

In rotating the bulb it has flickered.

Hi Colin,
If it has inductive ballasts, these is an issue getting new fluorescent tubes manufactured in Europe to strike because of environmental regulations governing the tube manufacture. You might be able to get tubes that will strike at The Jukeboxman for example but they will be more expensive. Other solutions are to fit electronic ballasts or convert to LED lighting.

The lamps are 15W 18" T8 lamps, means 15 Watt 43.5 cm and 26 mm in diameter.
Which starters did you get, are they ok for 15W 230V?
