I've never actually seen one, although my future wife and I lived in Soho during the early sixties and were often in the coffee bars of an evening.

The "Talking Pictures" channel the other night showed a 1964 "biker" film starring Rita Tushingham called "The Leather Boys." In one scene she slow dances in an otherwise  deserted old-fashioned looking café, to a record played on a Chantelle Meteor.

You need to take a visit to Edinburgh, there's one on display in the Museum of Scotland.
