CCC for MM-2CD

Hello,

I'm getting a 14-05 (one time it also showed up as a 14-04) error code on my Rowe AMI MM-2CD jukebox.

The owner's manual suggests that I should have my CCC repaired or replaced. Well I found a "tested" one for an ok price locally and it has the same model number (40832220) and the same pin locations and numbers. It looks like an exact replacement. But the seller says that it came from a CD-100 unit.

I'm under the impression that these two units shared a lot of similar components. 

Can anyone confirm that the CCC I'm looking to buy will work in my MM-2CD and not blow it up?

The CCC's for many AMI/Rowe machines are interchangeable, as are many of the parts (as you mentioned).

I have no direct knowledge, but I would ASSUME that if the part number is identical to your unit it should work.

Some information that suggests a factory reset may clear this issue. You may need to do this procedure 2x to clear certain errors.
