Rock-ola 451 stuck

My 1973 Rock-ola 451 is stuck.
It stopped with record on turntable. It did not play. No sound from stylus. Record arm will not move across to cancel selection.
Gripper is stuck at record.
I am complete novice with no sense of electronics.
Any ideas?

My first thought would be to check fuses/circuit breakers.

It would be very difficult for you to receive advise unless you possess a certain basic understanding of your machine's mechanics and electronics.

Do you have a service manual? I'd start there.
