Hey folks!
We have a 1959 2300S that we bought a few years ago. It worked really well for a while and then seemed to lose its back pawl adjustment. It had a rough ride home from the seller in a UHaul trailer.
It crashed an arm, and broke the tip off of it. I have a replacement arm, and a new bird beak.
I have the manual but I'm stuck. There is some procrastination built into this too.
I really want to repair it. I have the full mechanism out of the jukebox case. Cleaned and detailed the cabinet. Repainted some parts.
I built a stand for for the mechanicals. I have the carousel off, cleaned and detailed with new decals. The record player itself is off. I cleaned that too.
I just need to replace that lift arm.
I hesitate to remove the gold top that everything hangs from. I worry I'll get something out of time when I put it back together.
I see that there are two tiny pins that hold the lift arm to the pivot shaft. Tiny roll pins? That is how the supplier of the used arm I bought removed it from the donor jukebox.
What is the best way to access and replace the arm?
Thank you so much in advance.

The the only practical way to drive out the roll pins is to remove the entire "Pivot casting and arm assembly" for accessibility.
And yes, you will need to remove the lower components from the "Chassis mounting plate". It's easier than it seems. But first remove the "Arm and rivet assembly" which is pinned to the main shaft.
