Not sure what the "80/20" can mean ? 20 % should work, and Mylar should also---did the kit supplier not supply that cap? If not, I would contact the supplier ! That cap was used in every model jukebox from the 1957, Code B, K/L, on thru, the1978, STD-4. Ron Rich

No, the cap for the solenoids isn't included in any of the DCC kits from the vendors I contacted, only the caps directly on the power board. The original one is 80%+ -20% so a huge range. I spoke with a rep at Digikey today and the closest match they have is 3k volts. Maybe a .02 in parallel? Even then the voltage close to 1400 is hard to find.

Contact the suppliers listed above in our FAQ's section, as that cap has to be included in one, or more of the "control centers" used in all earlier TSU's,
TCC's, SCC's, and, of course, All DCC's. Ron Rich

I made the inquiry before I ordered my caps on my own. Only one of the vendors has every answered me, and he does it quickly. I confirmed today that the kits from the vendor only include the lytics and the one mylar readout cap and never a ceramic cap. I think I'll try a mylar, those I can still get. Heading to Monterey so hopefully the parts will be here when I get back next week.

You sir, did NOT contact "all" of the vendors listed ! I just spoke to one who assures me that he has an appropriate replacement cap, in stock. Ron Rich

Well yes and no. Weeks ago I inquired to all of them about cap kits (phone and email) and only one responded. The others I wrote of as uninterested so today I contacted the only one who did respond. I'll follow up with the others again later. As long as I can get the part all is good.

Okay, once I remembered to make the conversion from .01 uF to 10,000 pF I was able to find tons of replacements.
