Greetings from Sunny Florida! As the subject says, when I select A1, both coils actuate A1 and B1. Select C1 and it will hammer C1 and D1 etc all the way around the selector no matter what button I press. It will always energize both coils which hammers both selections for that location. I’ve checked the wiring etc and nothing obvious seems to be incorrect.
The manual isn’t much help here so any input would be appreciated.
Cheers!

Is this something that just started happening? Or has it been this way for some time?

Off the top of my head I'd say there was a short somewhere. I'll have to glance at a schematic a little later.
Do you have a service manual? It sure would be handy.

Thanks. I do have the manual and it looks like the stop relay coil is the power source for the write in solenoids. Let me dig in deeper.

The firing of the 'A' side or 'B' side coil should be determined by the 'top level' keyboard switches.

Ok let me look at the switches closer. That’s helpful. Thank you.
