On my 800, it was set up that the junction box, where all of the devices plug into has the button you push as to how many selections you push. Free play I guess you call it. Anyway, the button seems not to be "engaging" to play the selection. I believe at the time. Frank Hamwey redid the junction box and is now retired. Any idea what to do to get the button to activate? This juke was restored with the help of my past dear friend Jim Anderson.

What I believe you are saying that a pushbutton switch has been added to the junction box to simulate a coin drop.
If this is the case, it should add one 'play' per press.
All of these circuits use line voltage (120vac) so there isn't much to go wrong.
The magazine switch coil could be bad, or the pushbutton switch itself, or the associated wiring.
There is a single line fuse... are any of the cabinet lights coming on?

Yes, you are correct, push for every selection made. If I push it several times, it will sometimes send the "signal" to the coil I believe.

All lights are functional, bubble tubes as well. Probably need to pull the junction box out and look to see if issue with the "free play" button when it engages

Agreed that's a good starting point.

I hope it is an easy to see fix. I don't know anyone in my area that has good knowledge of older jukeboxes if I can't figure it out. We always sent everything out to hamwey in Florida.....

If the switch is failing it may not be easy to see, and may not be easy to measure.
You can try momentarily jumpering the switch terminals to see if that actuates the coil.
Take care not to touch the terminals or allow them to short to the chassis, there's 120vac across those contacts.

I will dive into this Saturday, I will be sure to isolate jumpers from touching anything. I don't like shocks

Just make sure when you jumper the switch, you only jumper it for a split second at a time.

I will be careful. I do have a spare junction box ir two if all else fails. Find someone I can send the one too if I can't figure it out.
Should start listing parts I have and sell them.
