Hello all! I'm new to the jukebox world. I just purchased a Wurlitzer Model 2200 (the person thought/said it was a 2204) jukebox. I found out the person sent the original 532 amp to a local shop to be rebuilt. So, they sold me the jukebox without the amp installed. No real worries there...until now. I picked up the amp from the local shop and am trying to reinstall it back into the Model 2200 jukebox. Problem is, I don't exactly know where each plug goes. I purchased a Model 2200 manual, but it doesn't show any type of picture with all of the plugs connected to the amp. So, I don't want to accidentally plug the wrong plug into the wrong location on the amp and fry something. By any chance does someone have a picture of what plug goes where on the 532 amp in a Model 2200? (or I think even a 2204 is the same setup) The person I bought it from said it was only a couple of plugs, so I figured it really shouldn't be a problem plugging it back in after I got the amp. Wrong. LOL! One example is that I see a plug labeled "chassis" and I see a port on the amp named Chassis, however, the plug is no where near long enough to reach the port. Everything appears (wiring wise) to be original and not shortened or lengthened or anything of that sort. So, I have no clue where this "chassis" plug is supposed to go. I looked around and didn't see anything else on where it would go. That's why I'm hoping someone can show a picture or two (or a video would be even better) on what plugs come from where and are plugged where into the amp. Thanks for your time, Mat

It really is only a couple of plugs, and all of the plugs are pinned differently. The chassis plug really does go into the socket labeled 'chassis'. It should be long enough to reach the amp, when the amp is slid into it's position vertically against the right hand side of the cabinet. Other plugs would be the 'mute' plug which gets plugged into the amp along the top edge, an RCA plug that gets plugged into the 'input' socket (also on the top edge) and the speaker plug which plugs in near the bottom of the amp towards the speaker board. All of the stated locations assume the amp is in it's proper mounting position. The only other plug is for the cabinet lighting, it looks like a standard AC plug. That gets plugged into a socket near the speaker socket. Hope this helps! EDIT: Just added a couple of pics I had, this is the best I got. I'll delete them after you've had a chance to save them.

Jukeboxmarty, Thank you so much for the info and pictures. The “chassis” plug will reach the position next to the coin machine plug like in your second picture (on the floor, not the amp itself). It’s labeled just like yours in the picture as well. I have a feeling it goes there, but I’ll double check. I also have the amp mounted properly on the side as yours shows. So I should be good there. If all of the plugs are “keyed” to their respective sockets, i should be good. I’ll give them a good look today. Thank you again for the help. Take care, Mat

Just to avoid confusion... The cable that plugs into the 'chassis' socket next to the 'coin mech' socket is routed from the mechanism. The cable that plugs into the amplifier's 'chassis' socket comes out of the junction box (the unit on the floor).

Perfect. Yup, that’s the way it looks in mine. I plugged the chassis plug from the mechanism into the junction box on the floor and it fit properly. I noticed one of the other pinned plugs has 10 pins and one have 7 pins. I will plug those in their respective outlets in the amp itself. Along with the AC type plug from the lights.
Next I have to replace the two front springs that go under the entire mechanism. They were lying on the floor of the jukebox when I opened it up. The two rear springs are in their place. I’m hoping I can slide the front springs back in without a major issue.
Thank you for the help! Mat [/quote]
