Rick,
Thanks a bunch for the information. I must have missed the email stating you replied to this way back in February! Sorry about that. I'm definitely going to have to look at the playrak credit unit. I have the manual for it (which I purchased), so I should be able to find out where it is and how to make sure it isn't in the zero (0) position. I appreciate the thought on this because it didn't occur to me to check it.
I'll definitely have to swap the lights (and possibly the starters) to verify whether or not it's getting juice and the light/starter is just bad. I'm not so worried about that part as long as I could get the unit to work properly.
I'll be happy to check the fuses, but how will I know if the wrong ones are in there? I'm guessing I need to check the schematic in the book for the proper fuse rate/limit?
Does anyone know if there is a "limit" on how many records need to be in the holder before the unit will work? Reason I ask is when I did do the test, I only put one record in the A0/A1 slot. That's when I tried to test it and no buttons stayed down/worked/selected. However, I never thought about it (until now), that maybe it needs at least 5 records just to turn on and work. Is this possible or should it have worked with just the one record in it? Next time I can put more than one in if that is what it requires.
Thanks again for the help, Mat

No limit of records need be in carousel. In fact, there can be no records in carousel and, all other things working, when a selection is made the carousel will turn and stop at proper selection and lift arm will rise even if no record is in the slot. In this case you will have to hit reject button to have lift arm return down for next selection.
