Hello everyone. My husband and I are tearing down a 100G jukebox to restore. It had been sitting neglected in a shed for years before we discovered it. We are stripping it down in stages each day. Most of the screws are resisting being removed, another indicator of being in the elements. We have removed the dome, but the side glass pieces don’t budge. We just finished restoring a 100C and the side glass panels came out easily. The surrounding chrome pieces appear to be ornamental, and not the reason the side glass panels won’t slip out. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for any help! rebo

The chrome pieces (actually aluminum) should be unscrewed to allow the side glass to be removed. The pieces are probably stuck to the glass due to the weather stripping used at the factory.

Thank you so much for your suggestion. We had a feeling this is the case, age + elements. We’ll will resume our tear down tomorrow. Thanks for reminding me that the pieces are aluminum. It is, as always, a great comfort knowing that there are people out there to lean on with these great jukeboxes! rebo
