My Rowe jukebox is working great....my question pertains to hooking in an ipod to play through the jukebox amp and speakers. Is this doable?

Thee fundamental problems here:
* If this is a transistor amp there is no simple input point.
* The mute relay must be switched off to play thru. This is relatively simple.
* The way Rowe's sound system runs with the bass speaker across both channels requires that the input be 180 degrees out of phase. This can be simply achieved using a center-tapped transformer -once you determine the ideal input point. Going in at the pickup plug is simplest, but you will need to arrange a switching setup to get the outside input disconnected during regular record play.
Of all the older machines, the older Rowe's are the most complicated to arrange an input, but it is doable.

Ron, this is what they list for the purpose: www.cdadapter.com/inv-riaa.htmThere is no mention of phase inversion for one channel. I do see what looks like transformers so it may be possible to order one with that as a mod. FWIW: Only on the later machines is the inversion optional -done with jumpers on the face of the chassis.
