Hi Guys Been working on a Rock-ola 434 Concerto 100 record, and I cannot find what setting I need on this amp for the Speaker Power Switch. I bought the manuals for this model, which is a supplement to the 431 Service manual (a manual I also bought). However, it states that if you are only using the built in speakers (which I am) then this Speaker Power switch on the amp should be set to 20W. But on my amp it has ratings of 15w, 3,6 and 12W only? I've checked everywhere in all manuals and they all mention 20w!!!!!! What should this be set to for my internal speakers. Thanks.

What is the chassis/part number for your amplifier?
I'm pretty sure your amp is marked 1.5, 3, 6, 12w (not 15w), such as on the 41056-1-A amp.
In this case you would use the maximum setting (12w).

If you're using only machine speakers, set it to the highest setting. Rock-Ola seemed to build amplifiers around this time with different output tubes/valves which have different power ratings - 6973, 7868 and EL84 (6BQ5). In real terms, there isn't a huge difference between them because loudness increases logarithmically - so to be twice as loud as 12W requires 120W.

Thank you both for advice. Looking closer at the amp it does say 1.5, I guess with my eyesight I missed the dot!!!!!
I will set it to 12w, as I only intend to use the built in door speakers. Cheers
