Got life in mm6 but scans continously. Need help. Linz

Hi linz,

I am not an AMI expert but can certainly field some general questions.

First, some background info...

Do you have a service manual?

Do you understand the basic fundamentals on how your machine is supposed to sequence?

The title of this post is labeled "Timing", do you have an issue related to 'timing'?

Yes I have the manual but is a little confusing cause you have 6 pages in different places and not in sequence. I've rebuilt 3 jukeboxes and this 1 is a challenge. Linz

Hi Linz,
You really need to be providing more information if you are looking for help! It's not even clear what is scanning continuously - the carousel or the search unit? Assuming that it is the carousel, even if you'd never previously seen a jukebox, reading through the sequence of operation in the troubleshooting section would enlighten you on what initiates the magazine motor.

I also don't know what you mean by "6 pages in different places", it's a pretty meaningless statement without some clarification. What page numbers are you referring to?

What I'm saying is the Manuel I bought tells you to refer to mm5 for timing issues. It gives basic for mm6 settings not hard to understand.
