Hello Everyone - new to this group. Bought a MM1 jukebox and I am finishing up the restoration. I am having a problem with the credits selector and the coin unit. When I press the Credit button it does not reset. I am not sure if this has something to do with the 2 knobs on top where you set them from 1-6 and 7-8. There seem to be different codes for different types of credit play? Anyway I also see that the coin mechanism is a little off as well. When I drop a dim into it the second flipper from the left activates and the credit box clicks! When I drop a quarter the third flipper activates but nothing happens with the credit box. I cleaned the credit box connections and I know the fuse is ok. Does this have to do with the setting of those black knobs on the credit box, or is it something electrical not working like the actual credit button or some other contact point. I appreciate any help with this. thank you.

This is actually a very difficult query to help with! Sixty years ago, this jukebox would have come out of the factory with the credit unit set up as shown in the manual. Over time, because of inflation, the price per play would have been increased. This is when the operator butchers the credit system! It may well have had further butchering which you now have to deal with!
When you say that the credit button does not reset, is it mechanically sticking or electrical ie is a solenoid staying energised? The credit button would originally have been in parallel with the single play coin switch.
To start with, maybe you should decide how you want to set the coins - what coins do you want to use for what number of plays and then work your way through the manual. Because of the number of options available, it can be surprisingly mind boggling. On another note, it's very easy to set free play!
