I have a Wurlitzer 2600 that I am repairing. I have the service manual but I am looking for the owner's manual. I'd like to know if there is a "play meter" to record how many times a selection was played. Also there is a lever in front of the record holder that moves left and right. The record holder will move no matter what position the lever is in. Is this a service lever/switch? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I don't think there was ever an operator's manual for the W2600.
The 'record play counters' are shown on the parts breakdown on pages 64 and 65 of the service manual. There is a clearer picture on page 19, figure 43.
There is a reset lever on the left side of the mechanism shelf (facing the machine), page 64 item 12.
The lever you mentioned in front of the machine is a loading lever, it lifts the selector crank preventing the crank from engaging any selected pins. This lever also actuates the 'loading switch', which turns off power to the changer motor during loading (many of these are by-passed).
