my regis gripper arm loading and returning issue

  Hi my regis suddenly developed an odd issue the gripper arm loads the record at the normal fast speed but when returning

it to the carousel it moves very slow probably half the loading speed.

  Any help much appreciated

It might be an issue with #2 micro switch resulting in the gripper power being supplied through the slowing resistor? If you link out the slowing resistor and the motor speeds up, then it's #2 micro switch. Otherwise is the gripper nicely lubricated?

hi norman yes I put deoxit on the switch and gave ut a few taps and all is well again.
