Wurlitzer 1800

Does anyone know how to adjust the tone arm brush on a Wulitzer 1800?
Mine is to close to the tone arm and gets hung up when activated. For now
I have disconnecte the cable that acuates this. The manual that I ave says
to set the brush holder arm so that when the brush is actuated it just wipes the needle
slightly. But it doesn't really explain how to do this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Assuming the tonearm is withdrawing correctly and the needle is fully inserted, the only adjustment is to gently bend the brush holder arm into the proper position. Just make sure it clears the record guide plate.
