Sudden humming on playback only - 1963 Capri II

My Capri II (414) suddenly emits a loud hum (like a ground loop) immediately on play selection and playback. As soon as a song is over, and the turn table stops, the hum goes away. Thoughts? I found a slow blo fuse with aluminum foil on it bc the previous owner I guess couldn't find another replacement.

A hum can be caused by many things, but in this case I would first consider the filter capacitors in the amp's power supply.

Appreciate it jukeboxmarty, I'll look through the manual and inspect them. This did happen suddenly, so I assume something just failed.
