Working on friends 2900. Most of the time the latch solenoid does not energize after making selection. Machine is on free play. I see on the thread above the leaf switches deform because of the heat generated by the solenoid. Are the leaf switches out of whack sometimes causing the latch to not engage or is the solenoid not working correctly. I do have the manual. Thanks, Jim

Yes, the keyboard leaf switches can cause the solenoid not to pull in. Check the leaf switch that bypasses the 85ohm resistor.

Didn’t get a chance to work on jukebox before winter warmth in Florida. I performed all the selector switch adjustments per the manual. Now I get no power to the latch solenoid. I can manually engage the relay #2 but when I release the latch loses power. Is it a relay problem or something in the junction box. Thanks, Jim
