I am attempting to troubleshoot a seeburg matador sps2 that hasnt worked for a cpuple years. There have been a couple repair guys down to diagnose it who didnt have any luck. There was an empty fuse holder on the back of the amp. It looks like it says to replace with a 1 amp fuse. I can not find any info on this fuse in the service manual. The fuse holder has been replaced with a 250v fuse holder for 6x30mm glass fuses. When I put a 1amp 250v slow blow fuse in and turn on the main power switch, I get a loud feedback noise from the speakers then the fuse blows. To make sure it wasnt a problem within the speakers, I disconnected the spade connectors at each speaker and replaced the fuse. Turned on power, still blew. Any idea where to start looking? Am I reading correct that it is a 1 amp fuse in this location? ibb.co/94XzNw8

Assuming a 120V input, Fuse F5101 should be a 3.2amp Slo-Blow. It's the main input fuse.
Many things can cause this fuse to blow, most likely shorted output transistors or shorted rectifier diodes.
It's important to find the cause of the fault; replacing these components without finding the fault can immediately blow the new components.
It would be difficult to perform any troubleshooting if you do not have an amplifier schematic.
